Nataša Jakop (1974) is a researcher at the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language. In her research work, she studies contemporary Slovene lexicon from the point of view of norm, semantics and pragmatics. She is specialized in the field of phraseology and participates in the preparation of the third edition of the Dictionary of the Slovenian Standard Language (eSSKJ). She is a member of the Commission on Orthography at SAZU and ZRC SAZU. At the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU she is the Vice-Dean for Educational Activities and she coordinates the linguistic module Lexicology, Lexicography, Grammar in the doctoral study program Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures. She lectures at the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU, University of Klagenfurt and University of Trieste. She is included in educational activities related to using the portals Fran and Franček and strives for the development and promotion of linguistic science.
