Mladen Uhlik (8 May 1977) is a researcher at the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language and assistant professor at the Department of Slavistics, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. He is Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Slavic Linguistics (Springer, until 2027 Russian Linguistics) (2026–) and a member of the editorial boards of the international scholarly journals: Philological Studies (2014–), Književni jezik (2017–), Rhema. Rema (2017–), Vestnik Moskovskogo universiteta: naučnyj žurnal. Serija 9, Filologija (2018–), Journal of Contemporary Philology (2025–), Slavistica Vilnensis (2025–), and Suvremena lingvistika (2026–), as well as a member of the editorial board of the reference international encyclopedia Encyclopedia of Slavic Languages and Linguistics (Brill).
