Description of activity
Alenka Porenta is in charge of the library in the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language, ZRC SAZU.
She manages the bibliography for the Scientific Research Centre (ZRC, SAZU).
She is a member of the Library Board of the Central Technological Library, Ljubljana.

Born: 14 November 1960 in Ljubljana.
She completed study of Pedagogy and Slovene (college level) in the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.
1985–1995: taught Slovene in the Polje Primary School, Ljubljana.
Since 1995: employed (tenure) in the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language, ZRC SAZU.
